EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • 8+ years of functional experience in HRIS systems management
  • In depth knowledge of business process flows in Human Resources Management related business processes.
  • Knowledge of general application architecture, databases and basic technical skills.
  • Ability to evaluate architecture impact on solution outcomes.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas, messages.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to train business users in the aspects of supporting the HR systems.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems required.

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of enterprise-wide HRIS/Payroll systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from the envisioning stage through to implementation,
  • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, including the ability to present to small and large audiences.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyzes business processes to expose areas of improvement
  • Creates and manages project plans to lead system upgrades and business process reengineering endeavors.
  • Works with the Information Systems department to develop, implement, and train on the new process
  • Assists in maintaining HR, Payroll, Expense reporting, HR workflow and employee training software through maintaining high level tables, developing in-depth reporting as needed, documenting, testing software upgrades and reporting software issues
  • Troubleshoots system issues related to all managed software
  • Trains users of varying technical skills to utilize HRIS/Payroll systems as needed
  • Maintains awareness of current trend in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. 
  • Prepares various reports as required
